MAC changed the bristles of makeup brushes to synthetic.

MAC already changed the bristles of all their brushes from natural, animal-sourced hair to synthetic fibres. The shape of the brushes we know stay the same, only the bristles change.
Not only are synthetic makeup brushes completely cruelty free, but they also work better with cream products as they absorb less product.
All of the new synthetic brushes will have an ‘S’ printed on them after the brush number to allow consumers to distinguish between the two types, so please look out for an 'S' on your MAC brush handles from now on.
